Parking is fast and more convenient with the elimination of individual meters and the addition of downtown's new bright blue pay stations. These solar-powered stations give you several options for payment and are easy to use.
Rates:
$2 per hour.
Which equals:
- 2 minutes per nickel
- 3 minutes per dime
- 7 minutes per quarter
Paid parking hours are from 8 am to 8 pm, for a maximum of 2 hours, Monday - Friday. Saturdays are free, with a 2 hour maximum. No restrcitions Sunday.
How to Use Meters
Just park your car and walk to ANY bright blue meter pay station – choose from any station nearby. All you have to do is enter your space number, pay, and be on your way. Paid parking hours are from 8 am to 8 pm, for a maximum of 2 hours, Monday - Friday. Saturdays are free, with a 2 hour maximum. No restrcitions Sunday. It's such a quick process you may not have noticed, but these stations are solar powered!

2. Locate any blue parking pay station. |
3. Enter parking space number on keypad |
4. Press green “Enter” button. |

5. Insert credit card and remove quickly. |
OR insert coins (no dollar bills accepted). |
6. Press blue “Add Time” button. |
7. Press green “Enter” button to confirm. |

8. Take receipt from slot below. |
Receipt = Complete! |

Meter Payment Options
There's no need to carry around a bunch of quarters in your pockets. You have three options to pay for your parking spot:
- Coins: Use nickels, dimes and quarters or tokens.
- Credit Cards: There is a $1 minimum.
- The QP Quick Pay app: Download the app and pay.
- Pay by phone by calling or texting 1-801-701-1888
We know you didn't come downtown to hassle with your car, so there's no need to return to your car with that pesky dashboard receipt—we want you to get on your way.
